5 things I like to do every season

Hello friends, and welcome to the September edition of Share Our Lives. Today, I share 5 things I like to do every season, from winter to summer, from spring to fall. Let’s go!

Winter

  • I love to light candles. The Ikea retrogrades, the tea fires, scented, non -scented, all flame brilliant warm makes me feel a little more attached to my least favorite season.
  • Yeah, I don’t like to be cold, so I will do everything I need to be wrong to believe that I am not. For me, it often means having a virtual chimney video with crackling fire sounds on my television screen.
  • Eat pots! Chicken yum or beef pots on a cold night.
  • Drink Swiss hot chocolate, with or without marshmallows. I am not difficult about marshmallows, but hot chocolate must be Swiss Miss. This is the best I tasted, and I tried all those of our supermarkets: Jarrah, Cadbury, Lindt, Nestlé. None of them get closer!
  • I wear large bed socks because if my feet are cold, the rest of me is so cold, whatever the number of blankets I have on me.

Phew! I had to dig deeply to find five things that I like to do in winter. It is now time to go to my favorite seasons, in spring and summer.

Spring

5 things that I like to do with each season post-floggling flowers

  • I am in no way a gardener, but there is something about the excitement of seeing the sun and the flowers start to flower that makes me want to grow something, anything. I usually make a trip to bunning to buy pot flowers for the front garden. Then, I just try to remember to water them and pray for their survival.
  • I love sitting on my step and feeling my neighbor’s jasmine in the villa opposite ours. The perfume is so strong that it takes place just, and what is even better is that if I leave the front door open with just the fly screen, you can even feel it weakly inside the house. It’s spring here, and I plan to go to Bunnings this weekend. Maybe I should buy a jasmine plant.
  • Open the windows and scream Hourra is spring! I’m kidding, I open the windows – there is no cry.
  • Go to a spring fair or Oktoberfest. My friendly and kind friend and I usually find a spring fair somewhere. Last year, we went to Cronulla… or was it the previous year? Time goes so fast!
  • Each year, I say: “We should have a picnic.” Spring is picnic time, do you not agree? I need to organize a pronto!

Summer

5 things I like to do every season after the post-Darril cousin

  • When I host Cousin Connect in summer, I like to eat in our courtyard with the long unfolding tables, the lights on lit, the music and pretend that we are in Italy.
  • Drinking the Aperol Spriz
  • Count the days to the summer school holidays and prepare for Christmas.
  • Find a roof bar, listen to live music and enjoy the evening lights.
  • I like to go to my husband’s swimming club on Sunday morning when they have social, like barbecues. They do incredible barbecues. We missed the season of last year because he gave himself a year after his replacement of the knee, but this year, he will be back. Note that I did not mention swimming or nautical activities on my summer list. I am more an eater than a swimmer, and the sand is certainly not my friend … unless I’m in Hawaii.

Autumn

5 things I like to do every season after the pie and ice cream for favorite reflections

  • I don’t like the fall at all. To get out of my funk at the end of the summer, I like to watch comfortable autumn YouTube videos living in the Nordic countries. A cooler weather is always more beautiful on the other side of the world.
  • Eat the apple pie and ice. I could eat it at any time of the year, but he delighted me in autumn.
  • Watch Hallmark films that are linked to “fall”. Fall seems so fun in the northern hemisphere. There are pumpkin spices (not that I really like flavor, I want to like it, but I don’t do it), apples, crunchy leaves, scarves, boots and of course, Halloween. All the comfortable vibrations I would have liked to have here.
  • Celebrate Easter!
  • Count months until spring. Fumistry.

So there you go, 5 things I like to do every season. If you read the northern hemisphere, you will notice that we do things differently here in Australia because our seasons are the opposite. And here is a funny fact: there are in fact more countries in the North than here, which is why fall leaves, pumpkin spices and all these comfortable vibrations occur while we always appreciate summer.

And yes, it also means that Christmas occurs in the heat. Here you can even find Christmas postcards that show Santa Claus on a surfboard instead of a sleigh. Funny, hey?
