Nisha Hosadurg, MD, cardiologist, specializes in heart disease diagnosis, heart disease prevention, and women’s heart health.

She has particular expertise in advanced cardiac imaging. She is researching ways to use imaging to prevent and diagnose heart disease earlier in people at high risk.

1. What has most inspired and shaped your approach to patient care?

The satisfaction patients expressed when their concerns were listened to and when issues and decision-making were explained to them in a logical manner.

2. What is your favorite part of your job?

Be able to do a variety of things: read imaging studies, see patients in clinic, and interact with trainees and students!

3. What is your biggest fear as a patient?

That I forget to ask questions or downplay my concerns so as not to seem too upset about things.

4. What do you do to relieve stress?

Peloton and listen to a rotation of history and comedy podcasts.

5. Dogs or cats?

Dogs all the way! I love all little dogs, especially.

6. What was the last movie you saw? Thumbs up or down?
