Oh my God, I can’t tell you how excited I am to give a great hero to September. At the same time, I am total incredulous how speed this year is! Sunday, I was in TK Maxx and I saw cups and decorations of Halloween on the shelves – I thought: “Huh … But it is only in April?” I don’t know why my brain is still stuck in April.

And then, at work the other day, I completed a medication form and I accidentally wrote 2021. Yikes! Either something really important must have happened in April 2021, or I lose my head.

Anyway, it’s great to be back on this sunny Monday to share my weekend a little (before forgetting what day it is). Thank you very much for being here!

Saturday, I caught up a few friends that I hadn’t seen for ages. We met in a cafe called self-high, which is not too far from where I live. It is a tiny coffee with only outdoor seats, and we were lucky to find a sunny place. I wore my sweater and my woolly jacket, so I felt good and warm.

We had to keep our towels and our paper plates, because the wind was crazy! I ordered a coffee with a Focaccia from Pepperoni and Honey. You would never think that honey and the pepperoni would work together, but it was surprisingly good, a bit like watermelon and feta. It doesn’t make much sense until you taste it, then you get it.

In the evening, I did preschool work. I have always sworn that I would do it Never Take the preschool laptop at home and work on weekends. But with some temporary changes in the team, I took more than my usual load. However, it was only until the end of the quarter. Then, the laptop can stay at the preschool and enjoy the weekend, just like me.

In the evening, I watched a Danish film on Netflix called Maybe baby. It was good, quite entertaining, with a few naps for me between the two. There is a Maybe baby 2But I don’t know if I’m going to watch it.

Sunday

The space dust cleaner I ordered on Amazon the day before arrived on Sunday morning.

I don’t know why, maybe because I’m an adult adult now, but cleaning gadgets inspire me. So I was there, still in pajamas, and I gave a boost in my refrigerator, and Wow, seeing all the dust that came out was so satisfactory. So I quickly changed my pajamas, and I dusted the ceiling fan, under the sofas and so on and so on.

I always try to stick to my cleaning routine during the week and keep on Sundays to relax. But entering some corners and corners was a little relaxing … Well, maybe not relaxing, but really satisfactory. I even moved the bed. Why is there still so much dust hiding there?

Steve and I planned to go to coffee for Portuguese pies, but we never succeeded because he needed a big sleep. He had to work later on Saturday, and even if he reduced his days, sometimes, if occupied, he still has to have overtime.

But I had these pies on my brain! So when he went to work in the afternoon, I went up and I bought two. When he returned late in the evening, we appreciated them with a cup of tea and two episodes of Seinfeld. Perfect average to finish a weekend which took place too quickly. Take advantage of something sweet and something funny.
