Favorite Friday – PlayWorkeATTREPAT

Hi friends, it’s still time to share a few favorites of my week. I bind to Andrea and Erika for Friday favorites, and I’m so happy that you are here 😊

Doing my races delivered and not having to do the weekly race in store is a favorite. We have about three woolworths nearby, so obtaining a delivery time slot is never a problem.

I paid the annual subscription fees for unlimited delivery, so as long as I spend more than $ 70 (which is not difficult with the prices of the grocery store), there are no delivery costs. Woo Woop!

Our first catch -up Monday of the month with friends in our local RSL for dinner was fun. I was always used to ordering the barramundi steamed with broccoli and rice when the previous team led the bistro, but now the menu has completely changed. These are mainly all burgers, pizzas, steaks and fish.

The grilled fish with croustilles and salad was delicious, and I liked they gave me a decent amount of tartare sauce. I love my sauces, well, most of them. No barbecue sauce; It’s too sweet.

I brought it to dinner on Monday evening. Look, no socks! It was cool, so I still needed a coat, but not cold enough for my usual woolly socks. I felt almost naked!

I made this chicken dish the other evening. It was a success!

And yes, Steve was really happy to prepare the dinner for a few nights this week during his nights. Last week, I shared that I sometimes had trouble abandoning control in the kitchen. My friends always tease me when they discover that I have a chef’s husband and I don’t let him cook. Times are changing friends!

Another sign that spring takes place slowly. This lonely yellow pink grows in my front garden, and I can’t wait to see more pop-up soon. God continues to cultivate them every year because I have no green thumb.

I had to get out of work for an hour for an appointment with the follow-up doctor. I was so anxious when I leaded to that that I couldn’t eat anything. Yikes – I really need to do something for this anxiety doctor before giving me a heart attack. I felt dizzy and weak all morning.

When I finished with the doctor, I felt that my soul comes in my body and suddenly I hungry. As a reward for having survived the dreaded meeting, I treated myself with sushi and I ate it in the car before returning to work.

Thursday evening was the meeting party in Ikea, haha! Hot dogs for two, followed by chips and sauce.

For dessert, we had gentle services – early!

This time, Steve waited for me at the cafeteria while I was walking in the Ikea labyrinth after our fantasy dinner.

It’s funny how you can always find things you didn’t know you needed – like this high pillow that I got just for me. Steve asked, “I didn’t know you needed a pillow”, and I said: “Well, no, I didn’t really do it … but you weren’t there to convince me.” Fortunately for him, I transmitted the small Bluetooth speaker, the brown glass vase, the administration lamp and the stool.

And it’s an envelope for some of my favorite things this week. Oh, it’s been a week! I would like to be able to share everything, but I cannot because everything is linked to work, and I would like to stay employed. Some days seem to live in a crazy sitcom.

I am grateful to be able to call it a sitcom and not a week’s horror film, thanks to some of my incredible work colleagues. These are a mixture of personalities, sweet, kind, funny, united and full of ideas that they are happy to share. And there is one that is downright hilarious. It can even that the worst days feel like the best days. How good is it?

It would be so great to introduce them to you, so you would see exactly what I mean. I am lucky to call them not only colleagues, but friends, and it is my favorite thing for everyone.
